Welcome to D'niviants, a place on dA where fans of Cyan's Myst series can hang out and share their artwork. It's also a way of keeping track of all the people already part of the community who have pages here on dA, since there are many of us and we're scattered. I thought it was time to set up a place where we can keep track of each other. ^_^

By the way, I'm ~shi-chahn, and I guess I'm the founder, though a few months back several of us had this idea. ~lehsa came up with the catchy name back then, and even a small page to keep track of people, but it wasn't really what I'd had in mind. I was hoping we could have a place here on dA where we could easily access each other's pages, as well as talk, share art, and maybe even have contests, who knows. So I guess we'll see where the future takes us!

Some new members have been added to the group, things are going slowly here as the admin are busy with various projects and RL issues (sorry please don't hurt us).
Uru Live, has returned and is currently in Beta Testing you can sign up for the test at the offical Uru Live site [link]
The game is due for a christmas holidays release.

Sorry for the lack of updates guys and gal's I have been in the US for 2 months getting engaged and spending alot of time working on The D'ni Jazz Club.

Welcome to the new year, everyone! Isn't it crazy? It just doesn't seem like it could be 2005 already, but here we are. And with the new year comes a new admin to D'niviants! ~twe3k has joined your staff here to help out in checking on the club and adding people, so now hopefully you won't have to go a whole week without having your join requests and assorted notes answered.. hehe. Let's all welcome him, I know he'll do a great job!

Wow guys, I'm really sorry I've been gone so long. I've had a lot of work to do over the past month. Thankfully, finals week is almost over. However, since both of my co-admins don't really come to dA much anymore, I think it's about time we added another admin. As an admin, basically what I need you to do is add people who request to join, and update the news section as needed. I would really appreciate it if it was either someone I know somewhat well, and/or someone who frequents the lyst / MC and follows the news as it comes out. Apply by sending this club or myself (:devshichahn a note, and I will make a decision as soon as I can.

In case anyone missed it, we decided not to affiliate with the club that asked us because their focus was almost entirely on anime and really had nothing to do with Cyan etc.

Myst IV: Revelation has been released! It is available in a 2-dvd set, a LE in the US that comes with Myst III: Exile, and a CE in other countries that contains such goodies as a deck of cards. Congratulations and many thanks to Team Revelation!

All submissions must have a light background (like, taken against a white wall, doesn't have to be unbearably bright.. just light), and preferably be no smaller than 150x150 (larger the better).

We didn't really have many participants in that contest that was attempted in August.. no worries though, I'm sure at a later date we will have a contest that more people can participate in. ^_^;

If anyone has any ideas for a contest, or just an art concept we can contribute to without competing, feel free to state it.
